By Request, Best Holiday Films

I had a special request to do a list of top holiday films.  Now, there was not specification on which holiday, but since I am sitting next to my Festivus Pole, I am inspired by...wait, nothing in general.  So the question is, what are your top holiday movies of all time?

  2. PHEW. Thank you for not limiting it to 5! Love your #1.

    7. Scrooged -- The best 80s version of Dickens.
    6. The Santa Claus -- "You're in denial, Dad." "You don't even know what denial means."
    5. Those creepy clay-mation movies from the 1960s about Rudolph and Santa -- oddly comforting
    4. The Holiday -- The one time it is hard for me to choose between Jack Black and Jude Law.
    3. White Christmas -- Love me some Bing Crosby!
    2. Charlie Brown Christmas -- Best movie soundtrack ever.
    1. Home Alone -- Most quotable holiday movie of all time.

  3. So, a few things.... 1. I haven't seen 3 or 6. Two, the creepiest thing about the claymations is that Mrs. Claus calls Santa "Papa". And, three, How did I forget Mickey's Christmas Carol?

  4. Oh MAN. How could Mickey slip past us both? You MUST see 3 and 6 - they are excellent. I have never seen your 4 or 5 - but this can be fixed. And, I totally agree with Mrs. Claus. A close second in the creepy department is that my dad sings her "There's Always Tomorrow" spot on...
